Here is What's Up

We moved. Again. We are currently in Kaysville, Utah living in Danny's Grandma's basement. It's a long story and I don't want to talk about it. I also don't want to talk about the fact that it is the 8th of March and we had a snow storm last night that blew in around 8 inches. We no longer have lightening fast internet, and I definitely don't want to talk about that. My dog currently does not reside with me, I drive 10+ miles to go for a run with him. Not a topic up for discussion either.
Topics that are up for discussion:
-I got a fabulous new hair cut that is easy and looks more like there is an actual style.
-Leo is officially walking ALL the time, and crawling up stairs, and falling down stairs, and oddly enough is attempting to whistle quite impressively. Oh and did I mention he sleeps at least 12 hours a night and takes a 2-3 hour nap everyday.
-Danny is working for REAL Salt Lake, at the stadium they play at as one of the crew members in charge of the field looking perfect for all games and practices. And yes, he does see the team players on a regular basis. He actually gets paid to watch the games, on the field. Currently he is also undefeated in the ping-pong matches he has with his co-workers.
-I'm finally getting back into running since before having Leo. It feels good to get in those therapy sessions with me and the road....now if I only had my pup to run along side me.

Confessions of a Netflixaholic

I don't know where I have been since Christmas, but apparently it's been a little bit of a daze. Especially realizing that it is nearing the end of January already. Look in my camera and the last pictures I took were a couple days after Christmas. Man! Slacker. It's not that I haven't been doing anything, or that Leo isn't doing cute things. I'm officially blaming it on Netflix. Don't get me wrong, it is heaven sent. Those of you out there who are still not with the program and enjoying the free instant streaming movies and shows, well you're probably getting a lot more accomplished in your day, but you're missing out on the magic that is free Netflix shows. My problem is I get hooked on a certain show and since I can watch them without commercials, I justify watching 2 or 3 episodes. It's not like I am sitting there staring at the screen and nothing else, I am usually folding laundry or writing lists of things to do or straightening up. But it's kind of pointless, why not turn on good music or heaven forbid, enjoy some quiet time with nothing but the sounds of Leo babbling? I'm not vetoing it completely, but I am making a public declaration that I am going to cut Netflix time down drastically. I need to get outside more now that winter is subsiding a little here in Saint George. Don't hate me, but it's been in the 60's the past few days. So Netflix, it's not good-bye, but see you...every once in a while.
